Miya Glass Designs

Doreen Miya, formerly of Lee-Sumi Glass Designs in Huntington Beach, California, is reopening her stained glass art studio in Sandy, Utah. Her windows and front doors hang in many restaurants along the Pacific Coast Highway, as well as in many residences throughout California. In 1987, she closed her business in California to study both art and neuroscience in New York City. Upon receiving her doctorate in neuroscience, she was awarded a grant to study spinal cord injury in Philadelphia. Once the grant was successfully completed, she moved to Utah to pursue her first passion, art and glass. Dr. Miya is now accepting commissions for one-of-a-kind stained glass art.
